How to un-stick an injector ???

I think I have a stuck injector. A while back I read how someone got one unstuck but can't find the post.

Is there anyway to test to see if it's gone bad or just stuck? How do you free it up?

I think they take the fuel rail off and tap on the end with a hammer.

Tap it. I'd try it with it still on the car first. Just use reasonable force. Be careful of the injector harness, they're $80+.

If you have to take the rail off, be aware that you might need/want to replace some of the injector o-rings. They may be worn, or may tear when you put it all back together. I got a o-ring set from GM (cheap $) for all the injector changes we've been doing lately.

Don't forget about the small o-rings that go on the fuel lines that connect to the rail. They get wasted too.

Thanks for the tips but I recall someone having a method they used. I think it involved turning pump on and off and some other stuff. Was it Nick Micale who posted that?
