How much can I expect to pick up by adding an electric cut-out before the cat on my stock exhaust? Anybody have any comparison testing or experiences? Will it change anything like boost or A/F ratio?
Thanks, James.

Also, would removing the cat cause alot of droning while cruising around town or on the free-way? Would it give me any noticable increase while still using the stock exhaust? Thanks

Replacing the cat with a test pipe will give you a little drone, but it doesnt seem to bother me and i do maostly highway driving. the thing it will give you is more whistling fromt he turbo, which is pretty cool if you ask me. i have a dump pipe on mine, and when i take of the cover, i definately notice a difference in a little low end power, but not much on the high end

Are you still running the stock exhaust from the cat back?
Where is the cheapest place to get a test pipe?

i am running a 2.5" flowmaster system after the test pipe(i know flowmaster sucks) it is set up that same as stock(muffler behind rear axle) the cheapest place to get a test pipe is probably ebay, theres a guy who sells them fro $35 all the time buy it now. if you want t dump pipe, theres another guy who sells them fro $60 all the time. that rpobably about the cheapest you will get one(new of course) any other questions please ask
