HR rear sway bar ?

I'm going to switch out my factory 10 bolt rear to a ford 9" and was wondering if I need a whole new HR bar or just new axle mounts ?? Are the sway bars the same for each or shaped different . Thanks , Sam

I reused the hr bar on the 9inch.we had to weld up new brackets.

The bar is the same. Call up HR and get the brackets for a 9" rear end and your golden.

Thanks for the info guys , if they aren't to expensive I'll buy new ones , other wise I'll take them to work and have the Tool Makers make them .

I took the HR bar off my monte that had a moser 12 bolt with 3" axle tubes, a quick call to Paul and got the correct axle tube mounts to put the bar on my GN. $70 iirc is what they cost. Actually, come to think of it I'll sell my 3" brackets since my Monte had a chassis mounted ARB in it.

If I remember, I paid $75 for my new ones so $50? They are for 3" axle tubes.

I believe that is the tube diameter on my 9" . I'm having a custom built 9" from Quick Performance with a fabricated center section , 35 spline axles & WaveTrac diff. I'll call to confirm tomorrow . If it is a 3" axle tube , I'll take them . I'll post up tomorrow and you can send me a PM with payment details . Thanks , Sam
