Hydroboost to vacuum

IM SWITCHING MY CAR TO VACUUM FROM HYDROBOOST, BUT IT LOOKS LIKE THE ORGINAL MASTERCYLINDER ON THE HYDROBOOST HAS THE BIGGER BRAKE LINE TO THE REAR WHERE THE NEWER VACUUM MASTERCYLINDER HAS IT IN THE FRONT SHOULD I JUST BEND THEM AND CONNECT THEM TO THE MASTER OR DO I HAVE A WRONG MASTERCYLINDER?

No offense Ryan but would you switch from HydroBoost to Vacuum? HydroBoost will give you much more line pressure. I have run the PowerJunker, Vacuum, and Hydroboost and the hydroboost is far superior to any of the other brake set ups.

...lets see....$50 for brand new hoses to repair the best turbo car braking system available....or, just convert to an inferior braking system....I can't seem to find the logic here.....

That is why I helped a fellow T owner here with his hydro boost. He was going to swap to vacuum and helped seal his up and repair the lines. Even if engine dies, he still has great brakes. 2 of my old T's were hydroboost and I miss them.

get the master, booster, 2 lines, porportioning valve, brake pedal from a monte carlo and be done. keep all the clips and bushing from the monte pedal. this is whet i did got all from victory auto wreckers.

Fixing the Hydroboost would be the logical thing to do. You are talking about Hydroboost and not the suckmaster, right?

My point exactly. GREAT system. Cheap to seal up. NAPA has Oring kits. Hydraulic supply stores have Buna-N rings that work great.

I was going to do this exact same thing. But as soon as I started talking about it, everybody started telling me to not do it. I can tell you, I have heard people that have converted to vacuum and they wish the didnt. The higher the RPM's go, the hydroboost just gets tighter and tighter.

Jeez, after typing that, I wish my wife was like that!!!
