As long as they're using a coathanger I'll wire 220 to my lever

I just tried to pull my door away from the frame. It will only pull out 1/8" or less and the trolley is in a spot that you never get a wire to. That opener in the video is installed wrong...

I can just break the window and be in in 3 seconds. No windows and you can't see what's in the garage or the trolley. Problem solved.

also............

my neighbor is a contractor, has a remote opener that scans all codes,
(I kept finding my door open)
so now........... I pin the doors (both of them) and I hooked the power to the door opener to my lights outlet, so you have to have the lights on to operate the opener.
as far as the trick shown on Utube, the door is still pinned!
and the movement alarm would trigger my alarm, should some one get in.

hope that helps

I do the same thing. I would get up and find myself running out the door with the Glock ready to fire to an open garage door with the alarm blasting

Good stuff, Thanks.
I've got little movement at the top of my doors but the glass is very breakable, as said before. But when it comes down to it, it's very easy for a pro to break into almost anything.

Have insurance for when you're gone and a .45 for when you're home.

Why not send CHOPPER (in your avitar) to do the job  instead of Mr Glock

Most of the newer openers lock the code when a scan is sensed. Same with car alarms..

Old old openers and old old car alarms had this problem.
