I had a panic attack last night and almost passed out. Well, my wife and I havent really been communicating and we are at a point where she doesnt know if its worth try to fix. She basiaclly has became numb emotionaly because I haven tbeen as suportive/etc... as I shouldhave been, but I'm going to workon that. She doesnt want to end up like either of our parents did, but we still have a son that I think deserves a happy home. Im going for depression, etc... meds and hpefully with counseling we can stay together, happily....

good luck my friend, i hope everything works out for you and yours. it takes alot of courage to post what you just did, i'm glad to hear you will try to work it out at home your child deserves everything you and the wife can do to stay together, my father left us when i was 10 and as a kid you wonder what did i do to make this happen, glad to heart you going to give it your best.

Best Wishes
Charlie

Bro,

I am so sorry to hear about your problems.
You are not the only person with depression and anxiety.
I have a close family member that suffers with this daily.
The right medication can make a world of difference.
This is a hit and miss process, my family member tried 4 or 5 before
finding the right one. You are in my prayers and I hope that you can work
things out for your child's sake and your own. In my opnion, If your wife is worth fighting for she will see your efforts to get better and try and help you.
Just be carefull that the relationship does not become co-dependant.

Good luck and God bless

BTW: It is dangerous to over compensate because of parental relations.
Nobody's parents had a perfect relationship.
Learn from their mistakes, but don't focus so hard on them that you create others.

thanks for your support guys - I called into work to day and we spent the day together, though jsut acting like friends, and I think it will all work out given time. Depression is in my family, though never treated, so thanks for the tip that the first one might not be the right one.
