It has not been lightened up any, is full interior, accessories, etc. It weighs 3255 with a half tank on the same scale I weighed my car on, and has been backed up on another scale.

HTH is this possible? Any others?

I've weighed mine at Ennis, Tx and at Bandimere, Co and w/o me it is 3300-3350. Usually I have 5 gallons or 10 gallons in the tank. so 3350 - (7 x 10) = 3280#'s with no gas in the tank, well in theory.

87 Turbo T with full interior, a/c, power windows and power locks, rear defroster, and manual seats. Maybe all the left over nuts and bolts amount to something after taking it apart and putting it all back together:)

My 87 T weighed 3410 at Bristol with me (175), half a tank of C16, a helmet and an OTC4000E. It is freakishly light. BTW, nothing special has been done (e.g. glass) to lighten the car. However, since it's a track only car, the exhaust consists only of a THDP.

I know the WE-4s were alittle lighter and i think there were some exceptions to the rule here and there.

His is a regular turbo T.

Maybe my car is just a porker. It does have a rollbar in it so +~60 pounds. But I do have Aerospace brakes (about -45#), TA heads ( about -20 #), rear sound deadening removed (~about 10-15 #), and no AC (about 35 #), mini starter (about -10). And it still weighs 3570 with me in it. I weigh 165.

My totally unlightened GN weighed right about 3400 even with about 1/4 tank. I weighed it on the same scale that I weighed my cobra on, and the number I got with the cobra was right inline with what the advertised weight was.
I had a 7.5 rear with aluminum LCA's in the GN at the time. Dont know what the weight difference would be between that and the 8.5 in it now. I have power everything except seats. Full stock exhaust. An astroroof even!
Are the T-top cars heavier?

When I weighed my we-4 after I first got it. 3/4 tank of gas it was 3360 car has no extras it's about as stripped down as they came.

my we4 weighs 3350 with gas. thats with a/c, concert sound, power everything but seat. My friends 84 limited weighs 3250 all stock.

My old GN that was stolen back in 97 weighed 3260 with 8 gallons of fuel and weld drag lites on it. At the time i weighed 150lbs for a total 3410lbs. My black GN weighs 3400 with 16' Kirban rims and half a tank of fuel. I now weigh 230lbs for a total of 3630lbs. I havent weighed my newly aquired blue GN yet but it will be 3350-3400 when i get it weighed.

I had a turbo T that had 3 options on it a while back. I never weighed it but it only had delay wipers, posi and AC. Didn't even have tinted glass and only had a chrome drivers mirror. AM radio only, Bench seat column shift car. Would of made a great race car.

My 86 T was 3220 with 1/4 tank of fuel. Not lightened as I had only removed the sound deading material when I replace the carpet. It was just a low option car. Bench seat, power windows, tilt wheel, rear defrost, posi, aluminum bumper brackets and drums.

I'll have to weigh my GN
My 70 Chevelle weighs 3745 w/o me  (185 lbs.)

My GN is 3620# w/10gals of gas, and no spare tire and no front sway bar. Add me and I head down the track at 3795#.

I have an 84 regal with a small block, no a/c, no power options, glass doors, hood, and front end. How much do you guys think that will weigh?

check you bumper supports ;) fat cars are steel light ones are alloy.
