Anyone have a used one for sale cheap and could ship to Canada Ontario?

Also I'm a fabricator and am thinking about fabricating up a 3" SS up pipe......do you guys think it will fit?

3" to a stock throttlebody and intercooler outlet? Not without step hoses. I don't think 3" is needed unless you plan on an all out race car, or you have to because of aftermarket cooler, turbo, throttle body.

Well I'm doing an off chassi restoration and am doing my whole exhaust 3" stainless steel, so it will last the cars life and let it breath better

If this is a HA car, are you referring to the up pipe to the turbo or the inlet to the throttle body? To the turbo from the header you only want a 2.5" pipe.;)

How come only a 2.5", and ya I ment the up pipe from turbo to header. I was going with 3" because it would match up with my cold air intake and kinda balance out the look.......what's the downfall of putting one on....it's not hard to make

Do you want your turbo to spool up quickly? Cause it won't with a 3" up pipe!

K thanks. So what is a good size? Or should I leave the stock one alone

Since you know how to fabricate I'll give you an interesting idea. Stick with the stock drivers side header and crossover. Make a new passenger side header that's 1/8" bigger and then go to a 2.5" tube from the header to the turbo. Get rid of the flange on the turbo where the up pipe attaches. What this does is keep the heat in the exhaust better and allow for the extra volume to expand and ignite just before it hits the turbo. I did a ton of research on the best way to do a HA header and there are other ways to do it but this is the easiest for effect.

I do have a 2.25" up pipe for a HA and it's set up for an external gate rather than the stock one. I've also got a 3" down pipe that I will be cutting apart to make the one I need for my C/T HA car.;)

I believe G body has a 3" pipe made for HA cars, which would save you some fab time. If you want to go external you can get a block off plate for the turbo and add the external to the up and down pipe.;)

Yup seen it there too but.....it's very pricy is it worth it's buck and is it bolt on and go? Thanks for all the help I really appreciate it :)

I think it's not worth the price vs the hp gain on a 3" dp. You would get the same results with a ported/polished elbow and save $450.

And do you have pics of your hot air setup.

My car is still under construction and everything is going slow. The last mods to the frame are basically done and then I've got to set the engine and tranny in place to finish that part. Then the rear has to be positioned and change the frames out. If you want to go into the B4black section it just popped up. It's called "Finally got some time" and I've been working out some things so I can finish the chassis.:D

A few performance facts:
A 3” DP is cool, and the ported elbow has been +120MPH on an IC’d set-up. (Don’t misunderstand: Not suggesting a better flowing DP won't be beneficial ;) )
If you are spending $$, it is better spend purchasing PL/Scan master/WB/Chip. Unless you already have this of course .

Patience/Tuning/combo will take you farther than any performance "bolt on part" on these cars.
