I need a custom timing chain, please Help!!

Ruggles told me that he was using an off the shelf chain when he did not use the gear drive and for some reason I remember him saying Big block Ford, maybe that will help someone, must be a spec on chains out there somewhere

im 100% for the gear drive.

replace the harware, safety wire everything, shim it correctly, should run forever.

I am leaning towards this way as well. One of my buddy that lost his motor earlier this year was due to a broken head of one of the cam sprocket bolt and it fell into the idler and jammed everything up. So I too going with new hardware along with the safety wire set and see how far she will take us.
