Ya'll may have seen a post a while back about how unsafe the stock piping is...you know, you should upgrade to better clamps atleast, if not hoses too...well, I just finished fixing my driver's side header gasket leak again!(this time no gasket) and I went out for a quick little drive...got up to about 5# and BOOOOOOOOOOOOM!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Pulled into driveway, opened hood to see the intercooler to intake hose had popped off....and not only that, but here, take a look at my homemade cold air kit yourself....
I never heeded their warning....

WHOAAA! Man, I sure hope none of that got sucked through the turbo.

Order up some Aeroduct. most tubing you find in hardware stores will collapse under boost.

That tells everyone how much vacum these turbo's can pull under boost. I have aeroduct on my car and it works well.

I never had a prob w/ the turbo trying to crush it even w/ 14#....the 5# hose blow did it...still impressive what turbos can do! I looked up that aeroduct...it was like $90 for 12 feet of red/yellow/blue....if I am going to pay that much...I might as well get buickgn.com's chrome one to match all the bling under my hood!
