Ya'll may have seen a post a while back about how unsafe the stock piping is...you know, you should upgrade to better clamps atleast, if not hoses too...well, I just finished fixing my driver's side header gasket leak again!(this time no gasket) and I went out for a quick little drive...got up to about 5# and BOOOOOOOOOOOOM!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Pulled into driveway, opened hood to see the intercooler to intake hose had popped off....and not only that, but here, take a look at my homemade cold air kit yourself....

WHOAAA! Man, I sure hope none of that got sucked through the turbo. I think you know what you should do now :)

Order up some Aeroduct. most tubing you find in hardware stores will collapse under boost.

That tells everyone how much vacum these turbo's can pull under boost. I have aeroduct on my car and it works well.

Good Luck

I never had a prob w/ the turbo trying to crush it even w/ 14#....the 5# hose blow did it...still impressive what turbos can do! I looked up that aeroduct...it was like $90 for 12 feet of red/yellow/blue....if I am going to pay that much...I might as well get buickgn.com's chrome one to match all the bling under my hood!:)
