So after driving my GN and let it idle for a few the IAC will come down to the 0 to 10 and hold steady there but when you turn on the AC it will jump to the 30 to 40 range . Is this normal ? Thanks in advance for the help . Keith

Yes perfectly normal. Its opening up the valve so you get more air into the motor from the increased load. That's a perfect working iac

The IAC will move when you get a load. Watch it when the fans kick on. Or you turn the lights on or press the brakes. This is why its extremely important to have the car as hot as you can get it while setting the iac when you have a xfi.

Zero is on the low side as the normal range for a stock engine is 10-50. As mentioned when fans kick on, ac, put in gear it will shoot up. I try to get it around 10 - 20 that way it has all it needs vs. the IAC being high and its shorted of range.
