IAT sensor thread

Anyone know the thread size on the IAT sensor? I want to weld an aluminum bung in my up pipe.

Yes 3/8 - 18 npt just cleaned the threads on my doghouse

I'm going to a speed density chip. I need the IAT in the up pipe because I spray dual nozzle alky. From what I understand when the alky cools the air if the sensor is in the upper plenum or intake the chip will add even more fuel because of the cooler air from the alcohol leading to a rich condition. Others have done it differently(dog house or intake). Eric at TT says before the alky nozzels.
