ICM compatibility

Looking to replace my ignition control module (type 1 Magnavox). I'm having a hard time locating a stock replacement for 84/85.

The 86/87 replacements are available and relatively inexpensive. Are the interchangeable?

I already have the wiring adapter and plate with the 3800 ign system as well so minimal expendature, cool thanks.
