I have an Idea to throw out for next year.I have gone to the Nats for the past ten years and have also gone up to US 41 for the Chicago chapter race.I am like everyone I like to look at the seven second turbo cars but their are fewer of them comming out to the Buick events.One of the main complaints I've heard from them is that their cars aren't bracket cars.This is really a problem for them when they are paired up with a ten second car.I would like to see them go heads up.Lets take the fastest 16 cars pair them up and let them run flat out.
Another issue is the money.I think the internet folks should all step up to the plate and do something to help keep our events alive.I would hate to see a time when I don't have an all Buick event to go to.I for one would be willing to chip in some $$ to help sponsor a class like I mentioned.I think if the TurboBuick.com folks could get together and sponsor a class with a sizeable payout maybe we could get some of these guys to come back.If we can get enough interest in this and come to an agreement on what kind of class we would all like and what the racers would like to run Maybe we could get someone like Lance to collect the money and keep a running tally of what's in the pot all year for all to see.
