Idle Air Control valve change procedures

Can anyone point me towards IAC valve removal and replace procedures? I live in Canada but am in Florida at the moment and my manuals are 1600 miles away. Car run perfect at speed (70-80 mph) but runs like a tractor at a stop light. new valve is $130 USD (Borg-Warner) from advance auto with two day turnaround.

Before replacing it have you tried to adjust it?

I'd suggest reviewing instructions for TPS and IAC adjustments.
