Ignition Module Failure,what causes it?

If it kicks like the timing is off turn the cam sensor slightly clockwise.

that was it,i turned a little,then a little more,pow!it runs.since i put my motor together 200 miles ago,shes ran great,why would that have happened?
when i first went out to try just for shitz and giggles it backfired like a gun right out the exhaust,i turned a bit it backfired through the throttle body ,a bit more and it ran.

Because the off brand modules change where the cam sensor needs to be. I can't explain why. I just know the fix.

every ignition(3)that i used from the oreillys and autozone was putting out 5v on the signal to the cam and crank sensors,the one that works(acdelco oe)has 7v signals,thats the only difference i noticed.again thanks for the help all

Another reason I went to bob baileys tr6. No worries about the ignition system.
