ignition systems?

so what ignition systems are you guys using? I saw MSD makes a dis-4 box for are cars but is it really worth the money over are stock setups?

I'm running plain jane stock shit from GM.

I'm building a TSM engine for my GN as we speak. I have all the pieces to run into the mid 9's and the only upgrade I have made is a little better coil. I'm running a FAST XFI over the stock ECM, but module and coil are stock. The coil I chose just has brass towers instead of the stock alum.
This motor is in the 850 horsepower range, if that gives you a better answer.
I have 3 of the best Buick guys advising on my part choices, so this is not something I "hope" works. It "will" work and these guys have assured me of that.

.and the MSD dis4 isnt an ignition system , it still uses the stock coil pack and ignition module
what the msd does is add a two step and rev limiter with some timing retard and it adds capacitive discharge spark but only below 3000rpm.

the bailey TR6 is an ignition system that replaces the stock coilpack/module with a new ignition module box and modern coilpack. it has two step and rev limiter with a timing retard feature on the two step to aid spoolup on the brake. It also has some other cool features and can do coilNear plug like the LS1 setups

The GM and Bob Bailey's upgrades are probably all the majority will ever need. Your money would be better spent elsewhere.
