I know... it's just terrible. Negligence is an accident, huh? I don't think most people even understand placing a value on a car, more than as an appliance.

I won't get into some of the stuff I've done over damage to my vehicles. Even just doesn't make right, or fix the damage.

...an appliance. That's exactly what the neighbor in one of the garages I rent thinks. She frowns on the fact that I don't have new,Green cars.

She'll come home from work and park in garage space #1. There I am in carpeted spaces 2 or 3 working on the GN or one of my other GM cars of the same vintage. She will then push her save the planet beliefs on me.

To her,the dirty,plastic car she drives is just a turn key appliance,as are all other autos.

As far as bumping another car to park?...I won't do that because that other car is not mine. It's not my right to touch it,much less bump it.

I really got lucky yesterday when the guy with the ball hitch backed into me...and the ball entered the air duct instead of stabbing the front end.

Hey, I could have sworn you were talking about L.A. just now! You know, in the liberal "upper crust" around here, they actually harass each other for not driving hybrids, particularly if they are SUV's. I met a lady from Beverly Hills who traded her Navigator for a Lexus RX hybrid because, and I quote; "I got tired of people leaving rude notes on my car every day telling me how bad it was for the environment."
