got my intercooler pipes back from the chrome shop.... still have a few parts to go heres some pics .. still waiting on the cooler weather before i spend any serious time in the garage

Still have to get 2, 3" 90 degree couplers for the intercooler.... 45 bux a piece $ ouch!

87 harness is in as well as 87 crank sensor still waiting on some parts , but its getting closer

this is a real Setup Its dirty and missing a DP but its back toghter. Got the bung welded in the DP.

update..
Injector harnes, eng harness in , cooling lines done , oil pan 10AN fitting done

Still need to get the throttle body and champion alt bracket, install oil pan , get the couplers for the IC pipes, and get the DP welded as well as a wastegate dump pipe. Might be on a little break to enjoy some racing on my banshee at the dunes.... just had a stroker motor built for it...

That looks GREAT!! What turbo did you end up going with? Did you get a Ball bearing unit built?

That wastegate wont work if you plan on running low boost

I used it on the old set up.... the lowest setting was about 15 , I typically ran it at 20 on the street

Ive tried to use the small ones on my cars,Usuually had fairly built motors and I always needed 2 to get the boost down.

That looks GREAT!! What turbo did you end up going with? Did you get a Ball bearing unit built?

No BB unit yet. i know who can make it for me once i get the money. right now its still the TA-54. i think the turbo will handle 10's so it might be ok

More progress..........

Alternator mounted, had to do a little bending to the fuel lines and move the filter to the frame rail. Had to lengthen the alt wire by about 3". coilpack and module mounted on the intake. Looks like I have the coil sitting opposite on the module of everyone else,,,, might change it Thats it for today, tomorrow is the oil pan..... I'll get some pics up of the welded AN fitting..... now it beer time and the Kimbo Shamrock fight!

beer drinking went for a couple days....... heres the 20 bolt oil pan with a 10 AN fitting welded and brazed for the oil return from the turbo

Update:

62mm Steve Monroe throttle body installed , waiting on some silicone couplers for the IC, will just have the downpipe and waste gate vent left to do.
