The TTA turbo and the 86-87 mount in the same way but the 84-85 mount completly different. See if you can find some pics of the turbos on GN/TType.org. That should help you as well. As far as fitting the later turbo to the earlier intake it will take a lot of work to do it.

so there isnt any turbo upgrade i can do to a hotair? i tried looking up that te44 or what ever you said but still couldnt find no info for the HA

I've got a buddy that has a 61 on his HA car. And it is running in the mid to upper 11's.

It was a TE33 that I was thinking about. Do some postings in the HA section and see what the other members can tell you.
