The Vette does not have a engine over its rear tires to get the same type of traction, but a drag radial is all that is needed change the outcome of that race with no other mods to the drivetrain hands down, even if both cars ran drag radials.

LOL,The same thing could be said if the porsche had the same hp as the vette has and lost 200 lb

So it's a Porsche! They have never made big heavier cars like the Vette, vipers and other cars of that size. It wouldn't be any surprise if it had a 640 hp V-8 who'd win. I am driving the GN all week and will be punishing any Porsche I see because of you!

Its only 100hp shy and cost $40,000 more. Your test still show it loses in the 1/4 mile too. I would take some of the 40k, swap the pulley and have Razor do me a alky kit. Then have Livernois tune it and smash your little German toy! Give it up Richie.

ZR1 sounds better, looks better, performs better, and challenges the driver to be at his best. The Porsche. Looks like a vw bug that's been Overhauled :biggrin: all wheel drive and easy for a Novice to control. If you don't have the skill or the balls to drive a zr1 it's not our fault. All of us will now bow down & agree the Porsche is the best car ever made

I can accept that because it's American made. However the viper sounds funny, looks funny, and it's performance is expected with the size of it's engine and it's a purpose built car for one thing. Going fast. Not nearly as refined as the vette and no where near the Porsche when it comes to all around.

Again we are off topic. The zr1 running what it did in the video I posted is impressive. Just because you can't drive doesn't give you any reason to hate
