I am converting a car over to E85. It is a bolt on stock long block car. I am looking at either a 340lph or the 430lph pump. My question is what is everybody doing with the rubber hose to connect the pump to the hanger?

I use the fuel injection goodyear hose with the blue liner.
But I'm sure someone will post on how the ink used to write goodyear on the hose will make it into my injector and cause a check engine light.....

I hear that.
I have been running E85 all year, I finally switched to teflon lines 2 weeks ago. I had been running the same rubber braided line for 3 years with Q16. This is a customer's car, I don't want any problems down the road.

I just ordered the teflon line and filter package from Racetronixs. I was going to make my own lines, but the set up from Racetronix is cheaper. I also ordered a TT340 pump and a TT chip with 80lbs injectors.

Be sure to have a good size wire for power and ground. I had one burn the stock sending unit connector.

Any name brand, new hose rated for gasoline & fuel injection should be fine. A lot of guys are running rubber hose with E85 with no problems.

I used the hose that came with the fuel pump. (walbro)
It's EFM EFI 18519 hose. I have not seen any problems with it. And I have had a look at it after more than a year of use.

I decided not to take a chance on the supplied in-tank hose when I installed a new high volume pump during the conversion of my street ride to e-85, and used a specific submersible hose.

At over $2 an inch, I hope it lives up to its claims?

I used the piece that came with the Deatchwerks pump. If the pump is rated for ethanol, surely the hose they supplied is too.
