NAPA has their brand of Synthetic oil for about a dollar less than Valvoline Synthetic oil sold at AutoZone....the catch is that NAPA brand is Valvoline oil... :) Look on back label and it says, "Manufactured by Ashland Oil", (Valvoline) ..... Now it's on sale for $2.99 a quart at NAPA here in the Atlanta area, hopefully company wide sale......

:)

Good Find!! I normaly run that or the Synthetic Havoline as Advance used to have it for 2.99 but their prices went up.

I've used it in my car, I guess it works okay.

Not sure if it's exactly the same oil if they add any kind of other treatments to it or make it differently.

Ashland is a big Co.

Seems to be a good rumor NAPA employees like to spread around however. ;)

Hopefully it is identical. :)

The "Big" companys who produce oil would have to spend more to do any changes to the oil since the oil has to meet API standards. .... Valvoline makes money putting different labels on products with their oil....So they would want a "Quality" product and a customer to keep on buying it

QT gas is Chevron , a little cheaper.... :p
