My mods are in my signature. I have Ford Blue Tops and I am starting to wonder if I am close to maxing them out. I know they were fine when I was running 18 or 19 pounds of boost but I regularly run 21 pounds now. When I set the car up years ago these were considered more than enough for a TA 49 and stock heads but a lot has changed since then. Also any ideas if an aftermarket intercooler would do me any good? If you are running alcohol injection, then the 36's are easily big enough for your setup.

What is it that's making you question their ability to supply enough fuel?

If they were big enough to do the job years ago, they still are. Nothing has changed about that.

Anything you can do to cool down the air entering the motor will help power production.
If you mount the intercooler in front of the radiator,it will effect coolant temps. Might only be a problem on the hotter days, but some upgrades to the cooling system might be necessary.

The reason I was asking is for two reasons. I don't run the alchol anymore. I just run Sunoco Purple 112 octane. Also I was not driving the car that much for the past two years and at that time I was running a maximum of 19 psi. this year I turned it up to 21 psi and needed to bump my fuel pressure to 43 psi to keep the O2's good. I am also going to get Eric to burn me a new modern chip and wanted to be sure my injectors were big enough before I get it burned. I don't plan on going any more than 21 psi. As I said my work had me swamped until recently and I have not kept up with everything. In fact I was amazed to see the results some people are having with E85. Bruce

Do you still run the factory MAF? What chip?
