Injectors

I am in need of some various injectors for mock up purposes. They can be complete crap as long as the pieces are physically there. I have a home-brew manifold and was told that only certain injectors will fit, but no specifications on which ones. Since I'm a carb guy currently, I don't have any to test fitment with.

The quote from the guy that built the manifold (Mike E):

"The injectors in the paired runners are very close, so you need to measure your actual injectors to be sure how close you can put them. I typically center the injector on the port opening and that's enough, but it was tight on this one"


Even loaners will do as I can send them back when I figure out what fits in the 2 ports that are close together.
Once I narrow down what works, I can start shopping for a complete set.

what are you trying to do ? are you looking for stock ones or like a new skinny type ?

I'm not really sure. The injector ports on the intake are about 28.5mm / 1.12 inches apart center to center. I just want to confirm what will fit before I buy 6 of them.

Stock ones might fit just fine, but I don't have any way to verify. It is good to know that "skinny" ones do exist.

I can get you measurements of both if that is what you need you can use the centerline of the injector measurement as a guide

the skinny injector will fit in that intake with no issues

According to my measurements, I should have 4mm between them. A little snug, but should work.
