Hi, Gene here. Im getting ready to paint my car so I purchased new inner and outer rocker panels. Where the outers go is pretty obvious but just by looking i really cant tell where the inners go or even if i need them at all. Hoping someone can exsplain where they go or maybe have some pics, thanks Gene.

Gene, when you cut the outer off, you'll see where the inners go. They're almost totally flat and are spot welded to the outers at the bottom and under your door sill plates in your door jamb. More than likely, you'll only need sections. If you replace the entire inner, you'll be doing a lot of surgery.

Where did you get those inner rockers from. One of mine was rotted and the body shop Made the inner because I couldn't find it.

Gbody now has them along with the outers, can you tell me where they go, after looking im not sure i need them, thanks Gene

Yea the more i look at it the more i see i really dont need these, there is no rust inside there. I think they will going in the for sale section.

I did this repair (testing for gbody and goodmark) let me know by PM if you need to do the repair. That inner rocker holds alot of structural integrity to the floor pan and needs to be done carefully.
