This is the setup that's on the car now.
pt-51
60 lb injectors
front mount
3"thdp
3200 stall

How big is you're wallet?

Tell us more about the motor combo.
If you have 60fts anywhere in the 1.5 range, that is enough for a 10 second combo. The PT51 has pushed full weight combos into the high 10's.
On your 11.50 runs, what has the tune been on? Fuel? Boost level? Obviously traction is not an issue.

If you are just looking for a turbo to upgrade too that will put you solidly into the high 10's, then my suggestion would be a Billet 6265. But that's just me.

Let us know more about your motor combo and tune, as I think you still might have more left on the table with what you have now.

It is nice having the newer tech to spool things faster. The 51 is a good turbo but is old in more than just age... I have several of them and have been happy with one in particular for a while!

boost - 26lbs
fuel- 45lbs vac line off
chip- joe lubrant
motor-only work done is springs and timing chain
I think the timing is set at 26

What tire height? Are you crossing the line in 3rd or 4th?

IMHO.... buy a Razor's alky kit first...... and a new TurboTweak chip..... wideband model if you already have or are planning on buying a wideband.....definately get the PowerLogger....... and tune away.

Bison is right on on the turbo.... with the parts above.... and the billet 62..... you could be mid to high 10's with good 60 foots......on pump gas....

Main thing is to let people know what your "realistic" goal is.... and the budget..... and a complete list of current mods..... and timeslip data if you have it.
