I've read that by removing the check ball in the input shaft, that the t/c lockup is firmer. Are there any pro's or con's to this?? Is it applying quicker, and slipping less?? Less wear, and last longer in a wot lockup situation?? Just want to take care of it while the tranny is out.

Thanks
Mike Jones

i like mine without it.

felt to slugish going in lockup with it but is firm without it...not to harsh.

best way i found was to use a tap since it has 4 sides to it and the check valve does too just stick it in the end of it and roate it while you pull on it seems to come right out..:)
