You want the valve to stop the flow back into the engine from the throttle body during boost. Blow into the valve to see which way to place it.

I'm going to pull out the check valve in the morning to test it, because after I installed the catch can today and went to start it, I had a lot of water coming out of my tailpipes. This isn't common for my car, so that's why I was asking the question about the direction of plastic check valve.

I looked at getting one, but it seems like they have been sold out of 3/8" for sometime now.

Pronto, it now looks like you have your check valve mounted inline with the pcv valve. Is that correct?

PCV valve should be in the line exiting your catch can,(between catch can and plenum) which is the line leading back into your plenum

No, it's between the throttle body and catch can. If you look close you can see it curve forward to the metal line.

I’m running Don Cruz’s vacuum delete kit so my PCV line exits the catch can and goes back into the plenum spacer with a check valve installed in line between

Here’s a pic of my plenu
Spacer , the source of vacuum for my vacuum bloc and also beside that elbow is a 2nd one which is where my PCV catch can is connected to.
My valve cover catch can is routed back into the MAF pipe using the same rubber elbow that was on passenger valve cover

I tried that location. The heat from the downpipe caused the bottom half of the can to expand enough it either unscrewed itself or just fell off. Keep an eye on it.
