Hi guys, I have started the process of installing the radiator into my car. I found that the trany lines look like they are around half of an inch but the threaded holes in the radiator are around .700 thousands of an inch. Do you know what adaptor/reducer is required to make this conversion? Thks.

the trans lines on an 86 and 87 wrap around to the front of the radiator- the lines on the back side where your trans lines want to go are for the stock 86/87 engine oil cooler.

Thanks novaderrik for the reply. Does that mean I need to put extension lines from my existing lines to the conections that wrap around the front of the radiator, and then plug the .700" threaded holes?

that would work. shouldn't be too hard to make some pipes to wrap around therad tank and hook up to the stock lines.

You don't have to plug the ones in the front but it would keep it clean for later on if you want to run the 86/87 oil cooler setup

Thanks guys, I hooked up the trany lines, mounted the fan and I am in the process of installing a relay/probe set up that I picked up from Advance Auto. Thanks for the help.
