Installing an adjustable fuel presure regulator and gage on a hot air

I removed the cap from the fuel rail, installed the adapter and gage but did not register any fuel presure after starting the car. Do I have to do anything elst to the fuel rail to release the presure? Thanks

You need to remove the schrader valve that is inside the fuel rail.
