does any one have the part number or know if gm still makes the stock intake tube the goes from the air box to the front of the turbo you know that black ugly thing or does any one have one of these used or have something aftermarket that i can use in place of this thing....

The steel tubes are discontinued. Check with Bweavy, he may have a used one. Otherwise, you can do the following if you have a used damaged unit: save the tube nut and have a hose and fitting company create two separate tubes, make sure they flare the ends a little, then trial fit the tubes and mark the position of the TB heater tubes on your new assembly, and take the unit to a air conditioning repair place and heve the smaller tubes soldered in. Finally, take the completed assembly to a plating shop and have it plated with white cadmium (and then paint black) or black cadmium (military grade) and then install. Even if you can get a used unit, I would do the cadmium plate procedure, so it won't corrode again. This tube is also a source of air pockets in your cooling system, so I would insure that all the air is purged from your cooling system.

I'm not sure but I think he is talking about the maf pipe. Do a search on maf pipe or intake tube. I need one also-maf pipe that is :D

oops, my bad, and such a good explanation too:D . The tube is still available from GM. There are some vendors selling solid MAF tubes (the guy that sells Big Mouth Air Cleaner comes to mind first). I am contemplating making my own out of heavy pvc tubing. look at this thread:

TurboBuick.Com > Tech Arena > General Turbo Buick Tech > Anyone ever fabricate their own maf pipe?

gofstbuick, I thought you did an excellent job on explaining how to repair the a/c lines also! That, btw, is my thread that you posted above!:D ;)

Do a search for Honda Accord intakes, I know a couple of guys here have done this now including myself. Looks great and works terrific. The tubing I got was an APC unit for a 4cyl. Polished. I had to modify the angles a bit to make it fit properly, but well worth it. $75 canadian for the piping. I used my K&N filter placed under fender! Check a few threads on this as it will definately save you $$$. Good Luck, Mike;)

GS703350 was the first to report the Honda Intake, I dont have any pics, maybe he can chime in on this too?!
