I was thinking, and i just got an idea.

I was going to take an Intercooler and put it up front behind the grille. Well. Im not sure were to relocate the turbo... So I just came up the idea to put the intercooler there, put a filter on the side of it. And on the otherside, put a pipe from the I/C to the MAF sensor then put a pipe from the MAF sensor to the Turbo/Throttle body.

Would This work? Because it WOULD lower the intake Temp. Which is the sole purpose of the Intercooler.

Heres a lil diagram...

Filer , Tube, I/C .... Pipe.. Turbo..

This is the plan I have, If it will work. Ill paint the Intercooler black. And The piping will look just like a cold air intake.

If it works out,. (which i wouldnt understand why) it would be one hell of a sleeper. ;)

it would work, but give you negligible power gains... you're already pulling in air at the outside temps at the air filter, which would be the same air going through the intercooler...

so it's not going to cool it down much, if any at all ...

the point of an intercooler is when the turbo compresses the air, it gets hot, and the intercooler is cooling it back down, etc

oh i see.. I need to find a intercooler kit.. Postons, Spearco, or anything else.

If i wanted a Intercooler Kit, how much would I look at spending?

brand new they are like $1000-$1200 but ive seen them go for sale on this site used for about $400
