Powerstroke install...
I recently installed my plastic tank powerstroke on my 86, and I took my time and it came out real nice. Since ur lowering the car this works out great but u will be doing some hacking on the core support for the inlet and outlet on the intercooler, and header panel so it dont hit the intercooler tanks, and I also had to do a very lil trimming on my headlight bezels. Good thing was when all buttoned up u cant see anything. As far as pipeing, I bought 2 Walker mandrel 2 1/2" stainless steel J-bends from Napa. If U cut them in the right spot it will be exactly what u need. I also bought 3 reducers from a local ricer shop in the area. 2 were 3 1/4 to 2 1/2 for the inlet and outlet on the intercooler and the other was 2 1/2 to 2" for the turbo. U should be able to get both of those Jbends for under 50 bucks and the reducers I think were 20 bucks each. I also used Tbolt clamps for every connection which got a bit costly but at least there wont be any aborted runs from hoses popping off. As far as the cooling issue--my car will not climb over 167 degrees even on a 90 degree day light to light driving hard. I have the Fbody radiator and ramcharger fans.
