Intercooler

This is best place I could think to post this question. I was looking at a couple stock location intercoolers and I was wondering which one would be the better of the two. First there is the pte stretch intercooler that I was looking at and it has 18 flow and 19 cooling rows and a 3" inlet and outlet and 3" core. Then there is the stretch intercooler from gn1performance which has 23 cooling rows, 3" core and a 2.5" inlet and outlet. So I'm wondering if anyone has used either of these and which one would be the better choice? Would you get better performance out of the one with more rows or the one with the larger inlet and outlet?

Use the search function in this area and in the turbo and related parts area. You will find days of reading on this "intercooler" stuff. You won't get may replies for that reason. HTH:smile:

we ran 9s with an old V4 (small necks) @ 138+ in Melissa's GN . we are trying Precisions now.. Very nice piece. there are a few more out there now cheaper. don't know how they work . maybe others will chime in Oh one part is not goin to turn the car into a 10 sec car
