I know this is way off topic, but has anyone noticed the Cialis commercial with the warning that says "Contact your doctor immediately for erections sustained longer than 4 hours." I'd have to think if that was my biggest problem, I'd be calling every woman I knew to brag, and the hospital is the last place I'd want to waste that adventure!

I plan on attending again, this year will be third in a row. Great time to had by all - no doubt! Main Street was OK, but I hear they don't want to deal with the secure parking 'thing'. Silverton was OK for a place to stay, but the Friday evening commute was brutal in a V8 that wanted to overheat because it wasn't getting enough ram air thru the radiator. The Cannery sounds good if they cater to the car crowd. I think it's a real good idea to use a hotel that's used to the race crowd that spends their days at LVMS. Close to the track is good. Might bring both Buicks this year.

I spoke to Craig on Sunday and he indicated that he put in some requests to various hotels with hopes to hear something yesterday; he added that parking is the tricky part. When I hear from him which hotel, I'll let everyone know.

Just in case make sure have lots of extra towels.

With 100 days left before the race, the West Coast Nationals website is online.

The site is nearly identical to last year, so for the veteran WCN'ers it should be pretty easy. Also, I kept your SMACK board logins, so you can just use your password from last year.

For the newcomers, please read the rules and keep up to date on the news. Event changes (if any) will show up there.

For all, the hotel is TBD, but we should know very soon. Like last year, it's $20/class to pre-register and $30/class at the gate. We welcome your pre-registration for 3 major reasons:
1. Cuts down on the chaos during the event.
2. It helps procure the apparel.
3. It lets other racers know who's coming.
We ask that if you pre-register, please make your payment within 2 weeks.

I'll be one of the few hotair guys there hopefully. I try to go every year and every time something goes wrong so I'm not counting on it. Got to get the car painted before I take it out in public during the daytime.

I always stay at the Paris because I get an extremely good deal on their 1,000sq ft rooms. How far is this from the track?

Paris is only 1/2 mile from I-15. So it's about 15 miles I'd guess.
