In a previous post we came to the conclusion that my 2-3 shift problem is being caused by the direct clutches going south. I picked up CKs book and plan on pulling the trans after the holidays to install and Billet forward drum and input shaft, along with dual feeding the direct clutches.
Out of curiosity I did a line pressure check today to see if I could find the cause my failure since so many have beat the same trans much harder and had them last longer. I found some interesting results.
Following the instructions in the book, here's what I got.

Min TV @ 1000 RPM
P-80
R-130
N-80
OD-80
D-80
2-125
1-125

Max TV @ 1000 RPM
P-175
R-140
N-170
OD-140
D-140
2-135
1-125

Since these pressures are so low I played around a little bit to see at what RPM the pressures would max out at Max TV. They're still Low.

P-200@1500 rpm
R-200@2500 rpm (best I could do, tires broke loose)
N-170@1500 rpm
OD-200@2300 rpm
D-200@1900 rpm
2-200@1900 rpm
1-175@1800 rpm

Definately some screwy readings, What do you guys think?
