I pulled my DP today to check for oil in there, no oil but what i found was interesting, not sure if normal, but my turbine wheel was pure white, as was the puck arm. Is this normal??, if not what could be causing it.

TIA
Kevin

Mines always pure black.

Does it look like ashes? White paint?

Very strange.

Yeah they put something in our 94 octane here, sunoco. was wierd to me too, never saw that.

Did you disassemble it prior to a cold start? If you did thats pretty normal. Its lean/hot/clean exhaust. I never checked mine without a cold start as I always haveta move my car somewhere to disassemble someting.

I get that effect from Sunoco 94 on my sparkplugs.Sometimes I can barely see spots of tan on the corners of the ground electrodes, the rest being white or nothing.Hmm....must be the alchohol.:D

kevin, did you give your car a shot of alky shortly before you pulled your d/p???
