Can someone give me the flow numbers on a fully port and polished set of stock iron heads. Im getting my heads flowed today and I need something to compare against. Im trying to see if I can get some more flow from these heads.....Everything helps.

I know someone had a thread on this earlier but, I can't find it.

Thanks in advance

Chris, I have heard that anything over 200 is good. Ive seen flowsheets for stock heads that flow 206. I think these numbers are at the usual .500 lift at 28hg or whatever that number is.

I have a bunch of flow #'s for all the popular heads on my tech page for comparison.. see sig..

Champion Irons flow between 200-205 with big valves. So anything with big valves should be above 195. Stock unported heads flow about 160-165 i think i've heard. So ported heads with stock valves should flow 170-190 depending how much port time you want to pay for. The highest # isn't always what you should look for, Look for how low of a lift the bigger #'s come in because our cars don't run really big cams. :D Frank
