I'll Be There Virtual Racing

I should be able to make it up to watch, and race in my mind

Car is going back together after putting on the new tubular upper control arms and finding my damed header leak

All I need now is to re-install header, downpipe, get the front end aligned, and wait for saturday morning (Fontana) to creep up

Car is already packed

FAST tune has been refined in some VE cells since last weeks DYNO run

Fuel pressure backed off just a hair

Slicks in the trunk with helmet, fire jacket and gloves

Front floor mat removed

Tools & supplies are boxed up

Lug nuts for slicks counted, torque wrench & socket packet up

Jack in the trunk

Portable air compressor in the trunk

Fluid levels checked

Plugs cleaned and gapped

Torque convertor bolts checked

1/4 tank of C-16 in the car and a new 5 gallon can of C-16 behind the seat

Laptop battery charged

Change of clothes in a bag (and an extra Depends) for when I SH*T all over myself

Now watch my old ass oversleep and miss out on the whole thing.....:biggrin:

First and only pass of the night.

Well, we found out what went wrong. My lower radiator hose blew and the coolant malfunctioned the oil psi switch. This psi switch cuts the fuel when there is a loss of oil psi. still ran a 6.46@103 my last runs have all been in the 108mph and with the new 342 back in, it should be faster Come on 6.39!!!! :biggrin:

and don't worry, you'll get that 6.39 soon enough, and better!!!

Did it blow at the water pump or on the lower radiator side?

It split at the bottom of the hose under the turbo.

LOL That's two times for me!! First was grenading the old motor, and this time a radiator hose. Damn I need to get my act together.
