Irwindale Update

Well my first pass off the trailer was 6.38 @ 107mph w/ 1.43 60ft

That's 2 mph slower than my previous 6.39 @ 109mph. My power logger said the O2's were 780's in first gear when I hit second the injectors static @ 101 percent, EGT's at 1830 I still need to do some miner tuning with this new chip. There's a lot left is this car once I add some fuel to the top end. I am willing to bet there will be some very nice 9 second runs in the very near future. It was very nice seeing everyone out there tonight. Ray, Harold AKA "Knife Guy"lol, Sod, and the two guys in the Black & Grey stage car sorry I'm so bad with names. Besides Brent didn't need me breathing down his neck.I don't do dragstrips too well especialy if the car doesn't haul ass. I have hard time excepting mediocrity.Next time out the car should ran as expected.

he doesn't need bigger injectors, just a FAST system.. i'm running 83's too and they are fine for mid 9's....

What fuel pump(s) are you running?

I found out from Eric Marshall yesterday that my new Speed Density chip calibrates off my FAST wide band O2 now, not the stock O2. Turns out I haven't had the analog out put on the FAST set at the right resolution so the A/F is at 13.5 the entire run. Once I fix this it's gonna fly. It's way to lean. I still thought it was reading off the stock O2. :redface:

Spool Fool My fuel pump is a Weldon DB2025 I think my fuel problems are handled into the 6's@200 + mph

Somebody tell Red Armstrong stock computers don't work. For many years he dominated in TSM with one. While your at it explain that to Eric Marshal.We are not ready to take that step yet anyways. Not till this combo is maxed & there is no where else to go. maybe then. Maybe underboost should be the next to hold a seminar at $50.00 a pop to explain how to tune & build a Buick.

Don just busting your chops.I was admiring your setup at fontana the last time we spoke.You have a lot of sweat in that project & it certainly shows.
