U. Can go 225 front n 295 rear

They will probably rub in the front when turning tightly at full lock. My 245 45 17's rub in the front. It also depends on the wheel backspacing and ride height.

I have 255x45x17 in front on 8" rim 4.5" bs and 295x45x17 out back 9.5" rim with 4.5 bs- perfect fit no rubbing.

I have 245-45 in front, lowered with Howe tall ball-joint and S10 spindles and I rub pretty bad. Turning left is horrible now. Before I redid the front end all was perfect and it never rubbed when all stock suspension.

A 255x45x17" is 26" height -same as stock, a245x45x17 is little short of stock height- I'm running moog drop springs all the way around.
