For those that are running this combo please give your advice. I'm getting a 2800 restalled D5 convertor and plan to get a PTE-52 in the new year.

Will this be enuf and not too laggy?

Thanks,

GNX7

probly be a close call

keep in mind that the lighter the car the less stall you will get out of a converter since it takes less load on it to move the car .;)

ithink ait wont stall more than 2400 in your rx7.the lite vehicle weight and torque range /rpm range of this turbo will severely reduce the k factor /stall speed of this convertor .i personally have not seen over 2500 rpm with this piece even at hi boost unless used in conjunction with our 2004r pro trans brake and at this stage reliability is severely compromised .however,i have seen 3000 plus stall with a d5 with crankshafts that have a 3.75 inch or longer stroke .not the case with our 3.8 .this by the way is footbraking it. ps they NEVER lasted that long anyhow .i would suggest a 10 inch from pro torque.love your combo though. id like to see a picture .e mail it to me and check out my site at ckperformance.com
