Is having the Turbos oil filter here a problem??

I'd run the setup near the turbo cover before I put some PTE leaky lines in front of my front tires.

Do a search on the turbo saver and rubber lines, many have had to upgrade them to stop the leaks.

The turbo shield bracket can probably hold a 50lb. filter if you have one.

Some peoples "ugly" is sliding off the road not what's hanging off the turbo shield.

I don't see there being much of a problem with it. I like the location since it would be easy to get to but I don't like how the turbo shield is cut up. Either way it's cheap insurance.

Replaces the traditional filter and feeds the turbo off the end cap with always filtered oil. The filter hanging off the turbo shield just looks funky to me.

i do like your set up better BUT i already had the parts. but you bet that once i start working on the regal you set is the one that i am going to get.

yeaup if i didn't have this ugly set-up on the car i would have bought another turbo when i spun the #6 bearing. yeahh the filter change is easy BUT a bit messy since the oil drips all over the IC. it also gets in the way of the actuator (when trying to make changes) but i already figured out how to work around it.

Get a manual boost controller and zip tie it to the engine bracket on the manifold- no more burning fingers
