I just got back from a deployment to Djibouti not too long ago. With the heat index (where you take in consideration, how it feels, with the humidity as a factor) it was rated at 141 degrees. AND, we were in uniform. Long sleeves, long pants, combat boots, and pc. (hat) After you get out of the shower, the second you stepped out of the shower trailer, it feels as if you never even showered to begin with... lol. It was SWEET hehehe. Can't complain though. I made GOOD money.
What sux is, that the offices have to have really good air conditioners in them, cuz of the computers. The heat there would DESTROY a computer in short order. So you'd be in the office for a few hours, in the air, then walk out for chow, and the sun would hit you like mike tyson. And I'm not exaggerating either. I think there's a member on here who was in DJ as well. He'll tell you....
You would wash your PT shoes (running shoes), and put them out on the rocks to dry, and they'd dry, no ****, in like 2 minutes. Lol. It was stupid..
