Ive been looking at my car recently with no bumpers and realized their are non factory wires and wire connectors. So far it sounds like a safe assumption until I add that the previous owner took the liberty of "customizing" random things on the car and I guess in his mind improved the car but, in reality did more damage then good. Anyway...is their anything I can look for or any numbers on any parts I can look for...Thanks for your help

well i if theres more then one wire on back of alternator and one of them got to a fuse holder on the ps fender its got a hotwire kit youl have more then one relay as well near the fuel tank

I had an internal short at the connector at the bumper. Only shorted when the connectors were connected not when connectors were disconnected. I did "customize" the setup by eliminating the connector & splicing the 3 wires - sloppy, but I haven't blown any fuses since.

I'm not sure if your saying you did your car or you did the car I own but the previous owner said he did all the work nd he started with a completly stock car, which makes me sad that he did so much damage to an original car!!
