Since it's getting cooler out, and the air will be more dense, I was wondering if there's any type of a ball park to adjust the fuel settings to?

For example, I've been getting some mild knock on the Scanmaster and the wideband would show in the 11's at WOT. So I bumped up the fuel setting from the default 128 to 132. I don't get as much KR/the wideband now shows in the 10.3's. That was today in 75 degree weather.

But wasn't sure if for say a certain temp drop, if I'd need to add XX more fuel....how do you return your car for cooler weather?

I find it amazing that you have to run so incredibly rich just to supress knock!! Is you gas octane around there that bad?

I haven't had to change my fueling at all in this cold weather, still keeping it at around 11.4. Car just runs WAY better in the chill.
 
with alky inj yeah you need richer than 11s


why not just turn the alky gian knob up a little or would that be too hard ???????
 
1% of every 10* of inlet air temp change. I have never seen a car make decent power at 10.3:1.

You're NOT adding significantly more alky for fuel value--but to reduce KR...
Just put the chip-fueling back where it was...

If you are using one 15gph nozzle id shoot for 10.8:1 on 93 octane. id go a little leaner with non oxygenated high octane fuel

Thanks. I put it back. I understand about the alky as the knock quencher, just thought when they said to "re-tune for colder weather" meant to add a little more fuel.
