Turbo needs a rebuild, I recall seeing T3 on it somewhere? I'm looking for a rebuild kit as it spins but is in need of freshened up, as it sits it is stock from the factory. If anyone knows what kit I need if there is one out there it would help me greatly thanks

It's the one I'm planning on using for the turbo I'm building. If you'd like an interesting idea click on the second link in my sig. Much better set up for the carb/tubo cars.

Very interesting but I think I'm going to just put this together pretty much all stock as it has a reman block and I beleive if I use good oil I'll be good for another 100000 miles @ least. Is the turbo electronically controlled on this car? I was thinking of putting the car together as a N/A for the break in as I don't want to put any $ in it until I know the bottom end is good. You know how easy it is for someone to forget something:eek:

The turbo itself isn't controled by the puter, but the carb and timing are. Go to beforeblack.com and do some reading up on your car. That will help you a lot. It's mostly about the Regals but it applies to yours as well. Same basic operating system.

Thanks charlie. I picked up the car today and I am very impressed on how clean it is. It's about as good as they get for being all original. Its not to saggy in back like most of them. Gray with light gray interior and even the GN steering wheel with Riviera emblem on the horn NICE :) Like he said brand new crate motor sittin in the engine bay never been fired:D I'm sure I'll have some questions for ya as I start bolting everything together can't wait to wake up the beast that has been stored the last 16 years.

Since it's a carb/turbo car I'll invite you into the before black section. That's where us red headed step children play. You've got 5 posts now so you should be able to post some pics. Start a new thread where it'll be appreacited. Come on into the before dark side. lol

Well never did order it my buddies got it now :-/ hoping to get it rebuilt for free by professionals I'll be sure to let him know to tell them that thanks charlie I haven't been on in forever and the car still sits as I got it times is hard but I haven't lost faith

Boy, you've missed quite a bit since your last visit. Do a little reading on the board and catch up. Lots of fun has been happening with the B4black section.:)
