Just got Razor's alky kit all hooked up. I havn't got my alky chip yet, but figured I'd go play around with some distilled water and 91 oct. (just to knock the carbon off the tops off the pistons of course :D ). First two base line pulls with NO alky was at a stedy 14 lbs. boost +- 1/2 a lbs. with about 1.5 * of KR at about 80 MPH. Then the only change I did was turn the alky (H2O) on. Did the same pull two more times. Both of these pulls the boost stayed at 12 lbs. for about four seconds then stedely creeped up to 20 lbs when I lifted. (no KR). I then removed my RJC boost controler and adjusted my stock waist gate for 14 lbs. I did the same with and with out H2O pulls as above with the same consistant results. So, why is my boost stedy with out H2O and goes from too low to too high with H2O?

Other notes are that all runs had a ten minute cool down cruze between them. And H2O comes on at 5 lbs. of boost.

There is no reason for the boost to change. Unless the engine is experiencing some sort of issue.

If you want to clean out the engine, buy a can of top engine cleaner from GM and perform the procedure.

Playing with water can be very bad on a system like mine that can get heavy.. you can hydro your engine.. then you'll be worrying bout far greater things than boost creep.

Get rid of the water before you break something. If you want to use "some" water, mix it at 50/50.. anything with greater concentration of water, contact me for WAY smaller nozzle sizing.

Or better yet.. put some good ol fashioned methanol in the tank and let the system and ALKY chip do their job ;)

Oops  ... I meant well. I was just feeling like a little kid wanting to open one BB gun shaped present the night before Christmas. I'll hold off on spray-flogging the engine until I can do so properly.Sorry, and thanks Razor.

Tonights prayer: Lord give me patience, and I need it RIGHT NOW!
