No mention of the replacement vin plate in the write up....hmmm

How about the way the visors don't match the headliner and the kick panels glove box door and arm rests look like they are from a different cars interior.....or is it just me?

No (SPI) Trunk ID Label either??

At least someone bought some stuff from Kirbans.

What do you think?

Buick : Grand National : eBay Motors (item 360259784581 end time May-12-10 19:00:00 PDT)

Looks to be another "straight shooter" "honest" used car jockey trying to butt-bang some poor unsuspecting fool.

I have said this before on here, and I'm gonna say it again.... I hate any & all used car lots that aren't associated with a major automobile manufacturer. And, even a few that are associated with a major auto maker are scumbags too.

The vast majority of them buy repo, theft, flood, salvage, etc. junk at auctions for pennies on the dollar, mark them up 1,000%, and attempt to pedal them off to the general public. I hate 'em!!!!

theft recovery.

dosen't look all that bad though, not for 17, but not terrible.
could very well be a GN, some of the late build 87s came with the T steering wheel emblem.

I would like more history & documentation on the car provided but I'm not buying so I can only speculate. If I was buying then every document would be produced or no deal.

I noticed it has a jacking instructions label inside the trunk lid but no option code label?

If it was a 47k GN with a clean title its worth close to that buy it now but i didnt see one thing that i.d. it as a GN for sure. No cowl vin tag and no trunk label to match. To me that detroys any legitimacy. Car is worth 12-14k with a fresh set of tires and a replacement dash speaker cover. I like how they left the condition out of the exterior grading section:rolleyes:. maybe because they are dry rotted POS. lol. Rare WE. lol. if he means WE4 they are not rare at all.

'Repo, theft or other event reported'

mileage is 47,628
last mileage report was 47,000 in 1996!

run far away

I don't believe they are saying it's a WE4 at all, that one is one me I said that cause it was black and had T wheels not GN wheels. Just me trying to be funny is all:redface: That and I was noticing all the other things that seemed askew with it.

The WE in the title is meant for the "WE SHIP" but I agree, that car was stolen at one point. The headliner was replaced and factory GN cloth was not used. The doors just look a little dirty and I never say anything about a glove box because if I take a picture of mine in the right light it will come out brighter blue than the rest of the interior and mine was 100% original when I got it.

They say the car was repainted and every impoerfection was removed. The RPO tag missing yet the jacking instructions still in place lead me to believe more that it was a theft recovery because they most likely put a trunk lid from another Regal on it due to someone prying out the lock on the original and destroying it to the point the shop didnt want to fix it. Who ever repainted it didnt know where to put the emblems either, all of them are higher than factory, at least they put the trunk emblem on the correct side though. The rims with the correct center caps along with the T button lead me to believe this was a WE4 that someone just put a GN interior into and figured it would pass as a GN after that.

I would have to see that car in person before I made an offer. If by pics alone I wouldnt pay more than 7K for that car. Looking at the motor I bet its 147K, just need a flashlight to shine at an angle and see if that white dot is showing on the sixth reel behind the opening.
